So a lot has happened in the past few months. I attended, but did not pass the final stage of the art school entrance exam (Finnish language skills were just not there yet), moved into a new apartment, which we have bought and now finished my language classes and begin work at the bookstore I interned at in the end of Nov.

In more sad news, Manny, my sweet, beloved cat, died at the age of only 9 on 4.10.2011. It was devastating, and I can't believe it has almost been a month now. I still am in denial. I miss him so very much.

However, life does not stand still, no matter how much we will it to, so I have tried to throw myself into my art work again, but find myself only doing it half-hearted. But such is life when mourning. For the next 3 weeks I have vacation before work starts, so I will try to fill my time with doing art projects for now. I have a childrens' book I'm working on, well 2 really, and a cartoon strip, which you might have already guessed has to do with Elvis.

That's all I feel is necessary to say at this point. Will update again at some point I guess.
